Green or Blue Bin (Trash)
Place both green and/or blue carts at the curb by 4:00 a.m. on your scheduled service day. Because the curbside recycling program was canceled, both cart colors are now designated solely for trash.

Yard Waste Bin

Placement

The first six bulk pickups per year are included in your standard municipal solid waste fee. If you exceed six pickups, you will be charged an additional out-of-pocket rate by Republic Services.
Holiday Schedule
General Rule
Republic Services observes six major holidays. If a holiday falls on a weekday, all collection services for that day and the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day.
Yard Waste Exception
Pre-scheduled bulk trash pickups falling on a holiday week will also be subject to the one-day delay.
If a major holiday falls on a weekend, the Monday through Friday collection schedule typically remains completely unaffected.

Keep Heavy Construction Materials Out
Automated collection arms have strict weight limits. The city expressly prohibits rocks, dirt, concrete, sand, sod, and construction or demolition materials in your residential trash carts. These materials will break the equipment.
The Paint Hardener Trick
While wet paint is banned from the trash, Mohave County advises that you can dispose of latex paint if it is completely dried out. Remove the lid, add kitty litter or a commercial paint hardener, and let it turn solid before tossing the can in your cart.
No Tires in the Carts
Auto and light truck tires are never permitted in residential trash carts. Residents must take tires (removed from the rim) to designated Mohave County roll-off events or authorized local tire recycling centers.
