Place carts side-by-side approximately 1 foot apart and at least 3 feet from any obstruction (fire hydrant, trees, mailbox). The handles and wheels must face away from the street. Set out the evening prior.

Cart with a Gray Lid Bin (Recycling)
Recycling is separated into the gray-lidded cart. Do not bag recyclables in plastic grocery bags. All items must be tossed loosely into the container to prevent jamming the sorting equipment.

Placement
Items must not be placed at the curbside until arrangements have been made with customer service. Place them securely without blocking the automated trash carts.

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If a holiday falls during the work week (Monday-Friday), collection services for the remainder of the week will be postponed by one day. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there are no delays to your pickup.
Yard Waste Exception
Special bulky item pickups and E-waste collections will not be scheduled on observed major holidays.
Always check your cart's placement; even during holiday weeks, carts must be removed within 12 hours after the delayed service occurs.
