Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If a holiday falls during the work week (Monday-Friday), collection services for the remainder of the week will be postponed by one day. If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there are no delays to your pickup.
Yard Waste Exception
Special bulky item pickups and E-waste collections will not be scheduled on observed major holidays.
Always check your cart's placement; even during holiday weeks, carts must be removed within 12 hours after the delayed service occurs.

Keep E-Waste Out of the Bins
Never throw computer monitors, televisions, cell phones, or other electronics into your automated carts. The high amounts of lead and chemicals make them illegal in local landfills. Schedule a special curbside pickup instead.
Proper Cart Spacing is Mandatory
The automated mechanical arms on the C&D Disposal trucks require clearance to operate safely. Always place your carts at least 1 foot apart from each other and a full 3 feet away from parked cars, mailboxes, and hydrants.
No Hazardous Liquids
Never dump wet paint, motor oil, or pool chemicals into the black or gray carts. These combustible items spark dangerous fires inside the collection trucks. Take them to the Yuma County hazardous waste center.
