Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If your scheduled collection day falls on or after an observed weekday holiday, your service will be delayed by exactly one day for the remainder of that week.
Yard Waste Exception
Organics and recycling services are run simultaneously with trash, meaning they experience the exact same one-day holiday delay.
If a major holiday happens to fall on a Saturday or Sunday, the residential collection schedule will not be interrupted.

Bag Your Pet Waste
Dog poop, soiled kitty litter, and heavily soiled pet bedding are highly toxic contaminants. They must be placed in a sealed plastic bag and thrown into the black trash cart, never in the organics bin.
Keep Film Plastics Out of Recycling
Flimsy plastics like grocery bags, bread bags, dry cleaner bags, and plastic wrap wrap around sorting gears at the recycling facility. Throw these directly into your black trash cart.
Separate Electronic Waste
Never place batteries, old cell phones, or computers inside your curbside carts. These items can spark fires in the trucks and must be handled via scheduled bulky item pickups or dropped at a hazardous waste center.
