All Marion County Solid Waste facilities and recycling centers are completely closed on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Modified hours may apply to Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Yard waste drop-off follows the exact same holiday closure schedule as the recycling centers.
If you use a private curbside hauler in Liberty Triangle, you must contact them directly, as most push collection back by one day following a major holiday.

December to JanuaryAfter the holidays, you can recycle cardboard shipping boxes (flattened) at any of the 18 centers. Remember that upgraded electronics cannot be thrown in the trash; take them to the special e-waste compactors at the Martel or Baseline facilities.
