Ormond Beach experiences very few service disruptions. Typically, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day are the only holidays that alter the collection schedule.
Yard Waste Exception
If a major holiday falls on a Wednesday, yard waste collection will likely be shifted to a different day that week. Always verify with the Public Works Department.
For all other federal holidays (e.g., Memorial Day, Labor Day), you should assume normal collection unless otherwise notified by the city.
