General Rule
The City of Oviedo and Waste Pro observe only three holidays. If your service day falls on one of these holidays, collections roll over to the following day (e.g., Monday moves to Tuesday, and Friday moves to Saturday).
Yard Waste Exception
Yard waste and bulk item collections follow the exact same holiday delay schedule as standard garbage and recycling.
For all other holidays not listed (such as Memorial Day or Labor Day), place your carts out on your normal scheduled day.

Keep Plastic Bags Out of the Bin

Cardboard boxes, particularly from large online orders, must be completely broken down and flattened so they fit loosely inside the recycling cart. Oversized, unflattened boxes can wedge inside the cart, preventing the automated arm from emptying it.
