Trash is collected once per week, Monday through Friday, depending on your neighborhood zone.
Recycling
Recycling is collected once per week on the same day as your regular trash collection.

Yard waste is collected once per week on the business day following your trash collection (Monday trash zones are picked up Tuesday, Tuesday zones on Wednesday, Wednesday zones on Thursday, Thursday zones on Friday, and Friday zones on Monday).

Placement

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
The City of Oviedo and Waste Pro observe only three holidays. If your service day falls on one of these holidays, collections roll over to the following day (e.g., Monday moves to Tuesday, and Friday moves to Saturday).
Yard Waste Exception
Yard waste and bulk item collections follow the exact same holiday delay schedule as standard garbage and recycling.
For all other holidays not listed (such as Memorial Day or Labor Day), place your carts out on your normal scheduled day.

June - NovemberDuring major storm events, do not place bagged or unbundled vegetative debris near storm drains, hydrants, or under power lines. Waste Pro's 10-bag limit remains for regular service; massive storm piles require a special city-hired contractor for removal.
Spring Cleaning
March - MayTake advantage of your two free monthly bulk pickups (up to 8 cubic yards) when doing minor remodeling or deep cleaning. Just remember that rolls of old carpet must be cut up, and you are limited to no more than 10 rolls per pickup.
Winter Holidays
November - JanuaryWaste Pro shifts collection schedules during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. If your normal day falls on a holiday, it will roll over to the next day, pushing Friday collections to Saturday for that week only.
