Official municipal pickup timing for Wildwood
Trash Day
Trash is collected once per week: Tuesdays for residents located on or south of County Road 462, and Fridays for residents located north of County Road 462 (including Pepper Tree, Lakeside Landings, Grand Oaks Manor, Oxford Oaks, and Village of Parkwood).
Recycling
Curbside recycling is not provided by the city; residents can bring recyclable materials to the Sumter County Citizen's Drop-Off Area in Lake Panasoffkee.

Collected weekly on your regular trash day (Tuesdays for south of CR 462, Fridays for north of CR 462).

General Rule
When a major holiday falls on your scheduled collection day (Tuesday or Friday), your pickup will typically be delayed by one day for that week.
Yard Waste Exception
Yard waste is collected on the same day as regular garbage, so it is subject to the exact same holiday delays.
