General Rule
If a holiday falls on a Sunday, it is observed on Monday, delaying the Wednesday collection to Thursday. If a holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, collection is pushed back one day.
Yard Waste Exception
Yard waste follows the exact same holiday delay schedule during the active season.
If an observed holiday falls on a Saturday, that actual day is considered the holiday, meaning standard Wednesday collections for the preceding week are unaffected.
