Official municipal pickup timing for Irvington

Trash is collected twice per week based on your neighborhood zone (Zone A is picked up on Mondays and Thursdays; Zone B is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays).

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
There is no garbage, recycling, leaf pick-up, or street cleaning on National Holidays. If your household garbage day falls on a holiday, it will be picked up on the next scheduled pick-up day.
Yard Waste Exception
Leaf pick-up is entirely suspended on all observed National Holidays and will resume on the next non-holiday collection period.
Unlike regular household garbage, if a holiday interrupts a bulk pickup day, your bulk items will NOT be collected on the make-up trash day. They must be held until your next scheduled bulk collection day.
