Official municipal pickup timing for Millburn
Trash Day
Trash is collected twice per week by zone: Zones 1 and 4 on Monday and Thursday, Zones 2 and 5 on Tuesday and Friday, and Zones 3 and 6 on Wednesday and Saturday.
Recycling
Recycling is collected once per week by zone: Zone 1 on Monday, Zone 2 on Tuesday, Zone 3 on Wednesday, Zone 4 on Thursday, Zone 5 on Friday, and Zone 6 on Saturday.
Yard Waste
Curbside vegetative waste is collected seasonally (March through October) on your zone's first trash pickup day of the week, with designated leaf collection runs occurring October through December.

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
There are no garbage or recycling collections on major observed holidays. Residents should hold their waste or refer to the Giordano Company Inc. alerts for shifted schedules.
Yard Waste Exception
Vegetative and leaf collections are also paused on all major holidays, with the addition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and President's Day.
During severe inclement weather, collection alerts and route changes will be posted on the Township website and via the Recycle Coach app.

JanuaryChristmas trees can be left at the curb for recycling throughout the month of January. However, holiday wreaths often contain metal wire and must be brought to the 'Bulky Waste' area at the Town Yard instead.
