Got Cans? Get Cash Back Right Here in Roselle!

Did you know you can get a few bucks back for those drink cans and bottles? While Roselle doesn't have a specific buyback center right in town, New Jersey has a statewide bottle redemption program. Just look for the "NJ 5¢" or "NJ 10¢" on your plastic soda bottles, water bottles, and other beverage containers. You can usually redeem these at most major grocery stores in the area, like ShopRite or Stop & Shop. It's a great way to make a little extra cash while doing your part for the environment!

Give Your Gently Used Stuff a Second Life in Roselle

Before you toss that perfectly good couch or those clothes you no longer wear, think about donating them! While Roselle itself might not have a huge number of dedicated donation centers, the neighboring communities offer fantastic options. The **Goodwill Store & Donation Center** in nearby Linden is a great spot to drop off clothing, household items, and even small electronics. If you've got furniture or home goods, the **Habitat for Humanity ReStore** in Kenilworth is always looking for donations that help fund their mission. Your unwanted items can really make a difference for someone else in our community!

Keeping Roselle Spick and Span: Tackling Dumpers Together

Let's keep Roselle beautiful! If you ever spot any illegal dumping – like furniture left on the side of the road or trash bags appearing where they shouldn't – it’s important to report it. You can call the Roselle Department of Public Works at (908) 245-2920. They're the ones who handle cleanup and can address these situations. Staying vigilant helps us all enjoy a cleaner town. Sometimes, the town also organizes community cleanup days, so keep an eye out for those announcements!
