General Rule
For Monday holidays, all week's collections are pushed to the following day. For Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday holidays, collections prior to the holiday remain unchanged, while the holiday and subsequent days are pushed back one day.
Yard Waste Exception
Bulk collections shift dynamically based on the holiday. Thursday bulk on a holiday week often moves to Friday. Thanksgiving week bulk is pushed to the Thursday AFTER Thanksgiving.

Strictly Pourable Plastics Only
Only #1 and #2 plastic bottles with a neck smaller than the body are allowed in the recycling bin. Deli containers, produce tubs, and iced coffee cups belong in the trash.

While flat office paper is highly encouraged, shredded paper causes massive jams at the local sorting facility. Throw shredded paper into the regular garbage.
Never Bag Your Leaves
