Official municipal pickup timing for Clay

Trash is collected weekly Monday through Friday according to refuse district: Districts 3 & 5 on Monday, District 7 on Tuesday, Districts 1, 4, & 6 on Wednesday, District 2 on Thursday, and District 8 on Friday.

Recycling is collected weekly on the same day as trash pickup in blue recycling bins or approved recycling totes.

Curbside brush is collected weekly Monday through Friday on your scheduled pickup day for Districts 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8. Residents may also drop off yard waste free of charge at the Oak Orchard Road Yard Waste Recycling Center on the second Saturday of each month from April through November.

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If the holiday falls on a weekday, collection is delayed by one day. If the holiday falls on a weekend, there is no delay to the collection schedule.
Yard Waste Exception
Brush collection also follows a one-day delay if your regular pickup day falls on or after the observed holiday.
Superior Waste recognizes six major holidays. All other holidays remain on the regular pickup schedule.
