Bulk collection is included in the base utility rate. Extremely large items or excess waste can also be hauled privately to the Southeast Landfill in Fort Worth for an external fee.

General Rule
If a major holiday falls on a Thursday or Friday, the Wednesday collection schedule in Benbrook will remain completely unaffected. You will receive standard service on your normal Wednesday.
Yard Waste Exception
Bulk and brush pick-ups initiated on Wednesday may take the full 72 hours (until Saturday) to collect, especially during holiday weeks with heavier-than-normal trash volumes.
