Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If your regular Wednesday or Saturday collection day falls on an observed holiday, there is no service that day. Collection will simply resume on your next regularly scheduled pickup day (e.g., if Wednesday is Christmas, your next pickup is Saturday).
Yard Waste Exception
Yard and bulk waste collection follows the exact same holiday suspension and resumption schedule as regular garbage.
Holidays such as Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, and Labor Day do not interrupt Best Trash services in this district.

Do Not Hide Liquids in Your Cart
Never place wet paint, motor oil, or cooking oil into your trash cart. If a hidden liquid spills or ruptures during the compaction process, it can ruin the street. Best Trash is not responsible for cleaning up liquid stains on your driveway or the road.
Properly Prepare Freon Appliances
If you are discarding an old refrigerator, freezer, or AC unit, Federal Law requires that all Freon be drained by a certified professional first. You must attach the validation bill/tag to the appliance before Best Trash will collect it.
Keep Contractor Waste Out
Waste generated by private contractors (such as major landscaping companies or home remodelers) will not be collected by Best Trash. Your contractor is legally responsible for hauling away their own debris.

Spring
March to MaySpring landscaping often yields massive brush piles. Remember that yard waste is limited to 5 tied bundles per collection day. If your spring cleaning exceeds this, you must spread the bundles out over multiple Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Summer
June to AugustDuring the intense Texas summer, trash can produce odors quickly. Ensure all household waste inside your cart is bagged. Note that if Independence Day falls on a Wed/Sat, your pickup will be skipped until the very next scheduled service day.
Winter
December to FebruaryHoliday trash limits remain the same. Heavy cardboard from gifts should be broken down to fit in the cart or tied into 4-foot bundles. Christmas Day and New Year's Day will pause service if they fall on a collection day, resuming on the next regular schedule.
