Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If an observed holiday falls on your scheduled collection day, your pickup will be skipped and will occur on your *next scheduled collection day*. For instance, if your days are Monday and Thursday, a Monday holiday means your next pickup is Thursday.
Yard Waste Exception
Bulk and brush are collected on your second pickup day of the week. If that day is a holiday, your bulk items will be collected on the following week's second pickup day.
BlackJack Disposal operates collection routes between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Never place heavy construction and demolition debris into your residential polycarts. Blackjack Disposal prohibits bricks, dirt, concrete, roofing shingles, and floor tiles, as they can break the cart mechanisms and make the trucks dangerously overweight.

Hot or smoldering ashes from a fireplace or backyard fire pit can easily melt the plastic polycart and ignite the contents of the garbage truck. Ensure all ashes are completely extinguished, soaked in water, and cooled for several days before disposal.
Ditch the Plastic Bags in Recycling
While you should always bag your regular household garbage, doing so with recyclables ruins the batch. Flimsy plastic bags tangle the gears at the material recovery facility. Keep recyclables 100% loose.
