Holiday Schedule
General Rule
Republic Services operates on a normal schedule for most minor holidays. Collection schedules only shift if your pickup day falls on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day. Updates are always posted on the South Riding Facebook page.
Yard Waste Exception
If a major holiday falls on a Monday during peak season, yard waste collection will typically be shifted by one day.

January to FebruaryDuring the deep winter months, the dedicated yard waste collection routes are suspended. Any minor yard debris you generate during this time can simply be placed inside your standard household trash cart.
