Never throw batteries inside any of your carts, as they can cause fires. Clovis offers curbside battery recycling: place your batteries in a sealed Ziploc bag and rest the bag directly on top of the lid of your blue recycling cart on collection day.
Convenient Motor Oil Collection
You don't always need to go to the Drop-Off center for oil. Single-family residents can place up to 2.5 gallons of used motor oil per week at the curb. Put it in a clear plastic container with a secure lid and place it adjacent to your recycling container.
