Placement

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
Waste Pro observes six major holidays. If you receive twice-a-week garbage collection and the holiday falls on your day, your pickup is skipped until the next scheduled day. If you receive once-a-week recycling or yard waste on the holiday, service typically shifts one day behind for the remainder of that week.
Yard Waste Exception
Yard waste will follow the same one-day delay rule as recycling if it normally falls on a Waste Pro observed holiday.

Return Your Plastic Bags to the Store
Never place plastic grocery bags, trash bags, or plastic wrap in your blue recycling cart. They jam the mechanical sorting screens at the recycling plant, causing major damage. Instead, bundle your clean plastic bags and take them to drop-off bins located at most local Publix supermarkets.
Toss the Caps, Recycle the Bottles
While plastic water and soda bottles are highly recyclable in Hollywood, their plastic caps are made of a different, unrecyclable material. You must unscrew and throw all caps and lids into the gray garbage cart before tossing the empty bottles into the blue cart.
No Greasy Pizza Boxes Allowed
Cardboard is great for the recycling bin, but grease and melted cheese ruin the paper fibers during the recycling process. If the bottom of your pizza box is greasy, tear it off and throw it in the gray trash cart, recycling only the clean top lid.
