Yard Waste Exception

Keep Appliances and Yard Waste Separate
When setting out bulk trash and yard debris simultaneously, they must be in distinctly separate piles. If yard debris is touching or covering an appliance, the claw truck driver will bypass the appliance entirely.
Bag Your Household Garbage
While some cities prefer loose trash, Panama City's Environmental Services Division actively requests that all garbage inside your blue 96-gallon cart be bagged. This prevents loose, lightweight litter from blowing into the street during the automated tipping process.
No Hazardous Waste in the Blue Cart
Never place hot ashes, fireworks, rocks, dirt, paint, or building materials inside your blue cart. These materials damage the collection trucks and are strictly prohibited. Take hazardous chemicals to the Steelfield Road Landfill.
