If an observed holiday falls on a weekday, service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of that week. If a holiday falls on a weekend, there is no delay.

Dolton's Partnership with Homewood Disposal
The Village of Dolton has partnered with Homewood Disposal Service to manage single-family residential waste [1.1.1]. Each household is issued a green 95-gallon cart for general refuse. Pickups are scheduled Monday through Friday depending on your neighborhood zone. To ensure collection, residents must roll carts out to the curb no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the night before and by 6:00 a.m. on the actual service day.
