If an observed holiday falls on a weekday, collections for the remainder of that week will be delayed by one day. Friday routes will be serviced on Saturday.
Yard Waste Exception
Yard waste and food scrap collections follow the exact same holiday delay schedule as refuse and recycling.
If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the delay typically affects the entire following work week. Contact SBC for confirmation on minor holidays.

Under the new program, each single-family home is provided with one 95-gallon refuse cart and one 65-gallon recycling cart. Collection days remain unchanged, with routes running consistently between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Generous Weekly Bulk Waste Allowances

Residents can set out up to two bulky household items per week alongside their SBC cart at no additional charge.
