Set items out on your normal trash day. Carpet rolls must not exceed 5 per week. Appliance doors must be fully detached and set beside the appliance.

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
Collections will NOT be made on noted legal holidays. Trash pickup will be delayed by one day for the ENTIRE township for the remainder of the holiday week.
Yard Waste Exception
Yard waste services are halted from mid-December through March, so winter holiday delays only apply to standard trash and recycling.
Place trash on the curb no later than 7:00 AM on your adjusted pickup day and no earlier than 5:00 PM the evening before.

Bag Shredded Paper in Clear Plastic
While most recycling programs ban plastic bags entirely, Harrison Township has a unique rule for shredded paper: it MUST be placed in a clear plastic bag before going into your recycling cart to prevent it from blowing away.
Don't Jam Your Cardboard
It is essential to fold and cut your cardboard so it loosely fits inside the cart. By township rules, the sanitation driver is not allowed to reach inside the cart to pull out stuck materials. If it's wedged, it gets left behind.
Keep Tissues Out of the Blue Bin
