General Rule
Trash and recycling are not collected on observed holidays. On weeks containing a holiday, waste collection service is pushed back by one day for the remainder of the week.
Yard Waste Exception
Bulk and yard waste pickups scheduled for Fridays will also be delayed if a holiday falls during that week, pushing the collection to Saturday.
Moraine and Jefferson Township (serviced by Dayton) may still maintain normal collection schedules on Good Friday, Juneteenth, and Independence Day.
