Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If one of the six major observed holidays falls on or before your normal collection day during the workweek, your refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day.
Yard Waste Exception
During the active season (April - November), yard waste collection runs on the exact same schedule and follows the same holiday delays as regular refuse.
Holidays that fall on a weekend generally do not delay weekday collection schedules.

Keep Glass Out of the Blue Toter
Unlike many municipalities, Perrysburg does not accept glass in its curbside recycling program. If you put glass in your blue Toter, it contaminates the stream. Please use Wood County drop-off centers for glass disposal.
Never Bag Your Recyclables
Plastic garbage bags jam the mechanical sorting equipment at the recycling facility. If you place your recyclables inside a plastic bag, the collection crews will treat it as refuse and route it to the landfill.
Yard Waste Doesn't Belong in the Trash
Do not throw grass clippings, dirt, or branches into your grey refuse Toter. Yard waste requires special Pay-As-You-Throw tags and is handled by a separate truck to be properly composted.

Fall
October to DecemberThe City of Perrysburg conducts a dedicated Fall Leaf Collection starting in late October. Residents can rake leaves to the curb (not into the street or alleys), and vacuum trucks will pass through the city zones multiple times until a final sweep in early December.
Winter
December to MarchDuring the winter months, regular yard waste collection transitions to a call-in service. You must contact Modern Disposal by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday to be placed on the schedule for a Wednesday pickup.
Post-Holiday
