General Rule
Unlike most municipalities, the City of Edinburg Solid Waste Management specifically states that 'Holidays do not change service days.' Your regular garbage and recycling collections will occur on your normal scheduled day, even on holidays.
Yard Waste Exception
Brush and bulky item collections also proceed as scheduled during your designated week, regardless of holidays.
While curbside service is uninterrupted, the public drop-off centers and landfills will be closed or operate on limited hours during city-observed holidays.
