Pro Tip / Discount
A Senior Garbage Discounted Rate is available for residents age 65 or older with three or fewer occupants in the household. A $1.50 monthly credit is also provided for enrolling in automatic ACH bank draft.
Blue Cart Bin (Trash)
Place the blue cart at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection day. It must be positioned at least 3 feet away from your recycling cart, mailboxes, and cars, with a minimum of 16 feet of vertical overhead clearance for the automated arm. All trash must be securely bagged.

Green Cart Bin (Recycling)

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
These three holidays are the only ones that affect Lewisville's schedule. If your regular collection day falls on or after the holiday, service will be pushed back by one day for the remainder of that week (e.g., Monday routes move to Tuesday).
Yard Waste Exception
Bulky waste and yard trimmings follow the exact same holiday slide schedule as the regular automated carts.
Republic Services operates on a normal schedule for all other holidays in Lewisville, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
