Frontier Waste Solutions observes only three major holidays. If your scheduled service falls on one of these holidays, you will be serviced on your next regularly scheduled service day (e.g., Thursday routes move to Monday).

The Stella Roberts Recycling Center operates on a separate schedule and is typically closed on all major holidays, as well as Sundays and Mondays.

Do Not Bag Your Recyclables
The most common recycling mistake in Pearland is placing cans and paper inside plastic garbage bags. The sorting facility cannot process tied bags, meaning your recyclables will likely be sent to the landfill as contamination.

To ensure timely collection, carts must be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your designated twice-weekly collection days.
Combined Bulk, Brush, and Yard Waste Strategy
Pearland streamlines its heavy trash operations by collecting bulky furniture, bundled brush, and bagged green waste on the same designated collection day. Residents are permitted up to two cubic yards of debris per pickup, which is roughly equivalent to 12 to 15 large outdoor bags or an area measuring 6ft x 3ft x 3ft.
