Holiday Schedule
General Rule
Waste Connections runs routes on almost all holidays. Service is only suspended on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If your collection day falls on one of these three holidays, service will be delayed by one day.
Yard Waste Exception
The 5-week brush collection schedule continues through most minor holidays, but may experience slight delays during severe weather or major winter holidays.
Garbage and recycling ARE collected on holidays like Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day. Carts must be out by 6:00 a.m. as usual.
