Holiday Schedule
General Rule
There is no curbside collection on observed holidays. If a holiday falls on a weekday, the schedule for trash pick-up will be delayed by exactly one day for the remainder of that week.
Yard Waste Exception
Because brush and bulk items are collected alongside standard trash routes on Thursdays and Fridays, they will also experience a one-day delay during holiday weeks.

Keep Bulky Remodeling Debris Light
If you are doing minor DIY remodeling, Terrell will collect the debris at the curb, provided no individual piece or container exceeds 50 pounds. Make sure wood pieces do not have protruding nails and are shorter than 6 feet.
Drain Freon from Old Appliances
Waste Connections will pick up old refrigerators or freezers during bulk collection, but they must have the Freon professionally drained and a certified tag affixed by a licensed plumber before you place them at the curb.
No Contractor Waste Allowed
Whether at the curb or the Citizens Convenience Station, commercial construction, demolition, or remodeling debris generated by a hired contractor is strictly prohibited. Your contractor is legally responsible for hauling away their own mess.
