Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If your pickup day falls on or after an observed holiday, service will be delayed by one day for the remainder of that week.
Yard Waste Exception
Yard and food waste collection experiences the exact same one-day holiday delay as standard garbage and recycling.
Unlike some national haulers, Rubatino operates on a normal schedule for holidays like Memorial Day, Labor Day, and New Year's Eve.

Never Bag Your Recyclables

Keep Lids Completely Closed
If your garbage or recycling lid is propped open by excess waste, Rubatino and WM may charge an extra fee. Break down cardboard boxes to maximize space.
Styrofoam is Always Garbage
Expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) cannot go in your blue recycling bin. Either place it securely in a tied garbage bag or take clean blocks to specialized drop-off events.
