Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If your scheduled service day falls on or after an observed holiday during the week, collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of that week.
Yard Waste Exception
Since the yard waste program runs exclusively from April to October, winter holiday delays only apply to household trash and subscribed recycling routes.
If a holiday falls on a weekend, your standard collection schedule will remain unaffected.

Do Not Use Brown Paper Yard Bags

Mandatory Mattress Wrapping
For the health and safety of Priority Waste sanitation workers, any mattress or box spring placed at the curb for the weekly bulk collection must be completely wrapped and sealed in plastic, or it will be left behind.
Clear Glass Only
If you pay for the recycling subscription, note that the materials recovery facility processing Wyandotte's waste only accepts clear glass bottles and jars. Green, blue, and brown glass must go into the regular garbage.
