Holiday Schedule
General Rule
When an observed holiday falls on a weekday, collection service will be delayed by one day. For example, Thursday routes will run on Friday, and Friday routes will run on Saturday.
Yard Waste Exception
Brush and bulk collections occur on the same delayed schedule as regular trash.

The 'Poke Test' for Plastics
If you can push your finger through a piece of plastic, it is too flimsy to be recycled by Republic Services and belongs in the trash. Flimsy plastics easily tangle in the sorting machinery.
Keep Recyclables Dry
Do not allow more than one teaspoon of liquid to remain in your bottles and cans. Wet paper and cardboard cannot be processed and will ultimately end up in the landfill.
