Collections are delayed by one day for the remainder of the week if your scheduled pickup falls on or after one of the three observed holidays.

Loose is the Rule for Blue Bins
The number one cause of recycling contamination is placing items inside plastic grocery bags. The sorting facility cannot open tied plastic bags, meaning all your good recycling will be sent straight to the landfill. Keep recyclables completely loose in the Blue Bin.
Keep Excess Household Trash Out of Bulk Piles
Your weekly three-cubic-yard bulk allowance is designed for large items like couches and mattresses. Do not pile excess bags of regular household garbage at the curb as bulk waste, as Republic Services will not collect it. Excess regular trash must go to the landfill or wait until next week's Green Bin collection.
Wrap Mattresses Safely
If you are disposing of an old mattress during your weekly bulk pickup, Carrollton requires that it be completely wrapped in plastic before placing it at the curb. This protects the collection workers from bedbugs and biohazards.
