Republic Services lists specific holidays as 'No Service' days on the Solid Waste Calendar. When a scheduled collection falls on one of these dates, collections are typically pushed to a designated 'Makeup Service Day'.
Yard Waste Exception
If a holiday causes a delay in your designated yard waste week, service crews will automatically continue clearing your street through the following week.

Free Trips to the Municipal Landfill
The City of Kerrville uniquely owns its own municipal landfill, transfer station, and composting facility located on Loop 534. As a direct benefit to local residents, the city sponsors two completely free trips to the landfill per calendar year.
