Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If your scheduled pickup day falls on or after an observed holiday, collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of that week (e.g., Thursday pickups move to Friday, Friday pickups move to Saturday).
Yard Waste Exception
Bulk yard waste collections scheduled for Thursdays will also be pushed to Friday during weeks with major holidays like Thanksgiving.
For minor holidays such as Good Friday, Republic Services and the City of Marshall typically run garbage and recycling collection on the normal, uninterrupted schedule.
