Official municipal pickup timing for San Benito
Trash Day
Trash is collected twice per week: Mondays and Thursdays for residents living north of Expressway 77/83 to the Resaca and north of Stenger Street; Tuesdays and Fridays for all other areas of the city.

Holiday Schedule
General Rule
Republic Services observes six major holidays. If the holiday falls on a weekday, collections for that day and the remainder of the week will shift back by one day, concluding on Saturday.
Yard Waste Exception
Curbside brush and bulky item routes will experience the exact same one-day delay as regular household trash during holiday weeks.
The City Service Center drop-off facility will be closed in observance of all official City of San Benito municipal holidays.
