Holiday Schedule
General Rule
If your scheduled collection day falls on an observed holiday, there is no pickup that day. Service will resume on your next regularly scheduled collection day (e.g., a missed Tuesday pickup will be collected on Friday).
Yard Waste Exception
Heavy trash and bundled yard waste follow the exact same skipped-day holiday schedule as standard household garbage.
Best Trash continues normal operations on most minor federal holidays, including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Remove All Caps from Recyclables

Cardboard Must Be Broken Down
Because the standard Best Trash recycling bin is only 18 gallons, large cardboard boxes will take up too much space. You must flatten all boxes completely and slide them under or directly next to your bin for collection.
