General Rule
The Solid Waste Department does not collect on major observed holidays. Collections are typically shifted to ensure all routes are serviced during the holiday week (e.g., Thursday routes moving to Wednesday).
Yard Waste Exception
During holiday weeks, priority is strictly given to household waste. Crews will collect yard waste only as time allows.
